Special Crystal Bowl Ringing Ceremony: Saturday October 12, 2002

Bob Ray and his Shaman Shack community brought a Crystal Bowl Ceremony here to MiAmi, our ceremony room here at the Malvern Sweat Lodge.  About 20 folks gathered for Bobby's visit with his Chakra set of Crystal Bowls.  Almost $500 was donated towards the $1400 needed for a full Chakra set of bowls for Miami.  Additional donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 503, Malvern, PA 19355.

Here are some of the guests.  That's Jane sitting on the floor.  She deserves the credit for sparking the drive to buy a set of bowls for MiAmi.  Thank you Jane.  

Before introducing the bowls, Bobby gave everyone a chance to talk about their prayerful intentions.  Below the men listen as someone shares.

Above Bobby rings a bowl.  Bobby and Connie Cooper filled a borrowed Explorer with bowls, drums, rattles, rugs and blankets.  They transformed MiAmi into a Northern version of the Shaman Shack at Severna Park Maryland.  They deserve a big thank you for their service.  Also visiting from down South were Donna Pia and Jude Rogers, and they cooked a wonderful meal for the Saturday night dinner.
