The story about Bobby Ray and the Singing Crystal Bowls
Some of you already know the story of the Crystal Bowls and their healing, I have been talking about it for some time. These bowls produce the kind of pure tones that have been used in healing for thousands of years. They are made at very high temperatures in special centrifugal molds of an exceptionally pure quality of ground quartz. They are tuned to specific musical notes that are in tune with each of the chakras. These bowls can produce the kinds of pure notes that are found in the Buddhist ringing bowls that have been used for centuries. Bob Ray was introduced to this healing by his friend Carol Katigan when he had his bout with lung cancer. In the summer of 1998 the doctors discovered that Bobby had a malignant tumor in his lung and decided his best chance was to remove his left lung. Everyday for the weeks before and after his operation Carol bathed Bob in healing vibrations by ringing the set of crystal bowls that she had brought back with her from her travels in the far East. When they operated, the surgeons found that unexpectedly the cancer had totally encapsulated so that the operation went exceptionally well and Bobby's post-op recovery was fast and complete. Bobby is sure that much of the credit for his healing should go to the bowls.
Bobby's generous spirit would not allow this healing to be kept secret and it wasn't long before Carol agreed that Bobby should have her set of bowls so he could ring them for all those in need. So many people came that a special place was set aside and remodeled which has become known as "The Shaman Shack." Each Sunday dozens show up for his weekly ringing of the full chakra set which is done in a manner of a sacred ceremony. Folks come from all around the Baltimore-Washington area to bath in the healing vibrations. More stories are told of healings similar to Bob's cancer and even if a medical cure does not occur, spiritual healing can be expected. Even if the physical healing doesn't occur the spiritual healing still happens.
Since 2002 have had our own set of seven chakra bowls and we have use during regularly scheduled ceremonies at Dibello Yoga in Paoli. There is no charge for this ceremony although a donation of $10 per person is suggested.. Donations are appreciated, these bowls have been purchased by donations.
